Arapahoe/Douglas Works! Youth in the Works! Program would like to thank everyone that assisted in making this event a success. A special thank you to our guest speaker, Marques Brigham,  Jim N' Nicks BBQ who catered this event, Charlie Johnson with Absolute Value for the beautiful balloon display, Wells Fargo and College America for their donations and the organizations who took the time to present in our Targeted Industry Room: Christine O'Donnell with Colorado Hotel and Lodging Association, Kevin Charles with Arapahoe County, Connie Franklin with University of Denver College of Nursing, Laura Travis with the City of Castle Rock, Stephanie Fry with Groundwork Colorado, Brad Hooker with Lockheed Martin, Lynn Wilson & Cheryl Winterbourne with College America and Kathleen Lynch with Petroleum Field Services. 

             

Recognition

Youth in the Works! congratulated youth Shooting Star winner Johnathan Chavarin and runners up Phillip Smith and Jaci Gauna, who have obtained a recent educational milestone. We also recognized the employer Shooting Star winner Powell Law Office, PC and runners up McDonald's and Cherry Creek State Park, who have been instrumental in supporting Youth in the Works! programs, services, staff and participants.

North Inverness Call-n-Ride (303.994.9885)

  • Call-n-Ride access from the Dry Creek Light Rail Station to Lima Plaza (local cash fare).
  • Shuttle operates from 5:30am to 8pm Monday through Friday. 
  • To pick up the North Inverness Call-n-Ride Shuttle at the Dry Creek Light Rail Station, cross over the bridge to the east side platform.
  • Call-n-Ride will drop off and pick up every hour and the top of the half hour.
