Not Sure What You Want to Do?
If you aren’t sure whether you should look for a job, finish your education or pursue a higher degree, you should know…you’re NOT ALONE! Youth in the Works! is here to help. We offer a variety of services, from self-assessments to mentoring and career counseling, to help you make informed decisions about your future.
Our on-site counselors can meet with you at the resource center to assess where your skills and interests might fall into an industry or career path. We can help you understand what level of education might be necessary to meet your career goals, and what employers are looking for in a future employee.
If you determine that additional education is what you need, Youth in the Works! can help you prepare to earn your GED, get hands-on skills training, and access the resources you need to be successful.
It could be you’re hesitating out of fear of the unknown, and that’s okay! Even if you’ve never worked before, you’re not sure what a resume should include, and you have never been on a job interview, our workshops will break down the process into manageable basics and help you conquer your doubts of becoming a successful adult.
