Small Business Majority will be launching a new comprehensive bilingual webinar series for childcare professionals in Colorado. The series will guide you through the steps needed to get your childcare business off the ground and achieve your business goals. You will hear and learn from experts and key partners on how to pave your way through the industry. More information about the bilingual webinars and registration will be available soon. All sessions will be available in both English and Spanish.

Part 1: Understand your options – Pathways to Becoming a Childcare Provider​

By Early Childhood Education Association of Colorado, Colorado Mountain College and Small Business Majority​

We get it! It can be confusing. Together, we will explore pathways to determine which path and learning experience is right for YOU! Whether you want to be a provider in your home, work for a childcare business or want to start your own-this webinar is designed for anyone looking to provide childcare. Earning a credential in childcare demonstrates your knowledge, skills, and abilities in the early childhood education field as well as your commitment to professional development. This webinar gives learners the flexibility and support you need to achieve your goals. Join us as we share how Colorado is making the childcare provider credentialing a smooth process and understand what the options are. This webinar will be simultaneously translated to Spanish.

This course will also cover record keeping, policies and the collection process for non-payment. We will guide you through the process of growing your new business, setting it up, finding a location and other helpful topics. This webinar will be simultaneously translated to Spanish.

Colorado has many funding options available that can help you access responsible capital for your childcare business and help you avoid predatory lenders. Learn about Community Development Fund Initiative lenders, the Colorado Shines Rating and Colorado Child Care Assistance Program (CCCAP) funding and other funding options for nonprofits and LLCs.
