Registered Apprenticeship Virtual Academy

A Registered Apprenticeship Program is a workforce development tool that provides tangible benefits for both job seekers and employers. Job seekers and incumbent workers benefit from receiving on-the-job training and education, an opportunity to earn and learn, and a nationally recognized industry credential for meaningful employment. Employers benefit from having a pipeline of talented workers equipped with skills to meet industry demands, increase productivity and quality in the workplace, and generate higher levels of employee retention. In this virtual academy, Thomas P. Miller & Associates (TPMA) will provide an overview of Registered Apprenticeship Programs and share best practices for implementing this innovative workforce solution.

ABOUT TPMA: Founded in 1989, TPMA has a long and rich history of partnering with public, private, and nonprofit organizations to develop actionable workforce and education systems and implement strategies for economic growth. In 2022, the organization was selected and recognized as an Apprenticeship Ambassador by the United States Department of Labor.
