Competitive Edge Employee Development (CEED) Funds

CEED funds, funded by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and administered by Arapahoe/Douglas Works!, are designed to support businesses and nonprofit organizations in Arapahoe and Douglas Counties. The grant empowers organizations by providing training opportunities for current employees. How do CEED Funds Work?

CEED funds are designed to boost the competitiveness of both employees and employers through targeted staff training. Participating employers can choose training programs tailored to meet their company’s unique needs. Upon successful completion and verification of the training, Arapahoe/Douglas Works! will reimburse the employer for approved training costs.

Information Sessions

• Session 1 – Friday, June 27, 9:00am -10:30am
• Session 2 – Monday, June 30, 1:30pm – 3:00pm
• Session 3 – Thursday, July 10, 1:30pm – 3:00pm
• Session 4 – Monday, July 14, 9:00am – 10:30am

Information session attendance is mandatory for employers to be considered

Quick Facts

• Training costs will be reimbursed at 50% to 90% after paid invoice submission
• Designed for short-term trainings
• Employer’s choice of training program and training provider

All participating employees must be classified as W-2 employees
