Through this innovative program, businesses can save not only money (up to $6,000 per hire), but invaluable recruitment time, as we send you pre-screened candidates that are suitable and interested in your available positions.

What is On-the-Job Training (OJT)?
On-the-Job Training (OJT) is a program that reimburses businesses up to 100% of employees’ wages associated with the extraordinary cost of training new, less experienced hires. Through this innovative program, MATCH offers businesses cost-effective training and hiring solutions.
How is MATCH cost-effective for my business?
M.A.T.C.H. is an investment in your company, allowing you to save both time and money. In addition to reimbursing your business up to 100% of new employees’ wages (up to $6,000 per hire), MATCH saves businesses invaluable recruitment time, as we send you pre-screened candidates that are suitable and interested in your available positions.
What determines the percentage my business is reimbursed?
The program that our candidate is enrolled with. A representative from ADW will assist with determining this.
What types of positions are eligible for OJT?
Occupations with growth potential that will result in permanent employment following the successful completion of the OJT. *Positions paying less than $12/hour will not be considered.
Can my business refer a candidate?
Yes. The candidate must be in need of worksite training and meet program eligibility.
How long is each subsidized OJT?
While each OJT is customized and varies in time, typically, it will last approximately 2-3 months; however, in no case will the OJT exceed six (6) months.
Is there extensive paperwork involved?
Not at all. The paperwork is seamless and minimal.

If my business is eligible, what’s next?
Let’s make a MATCH! If you haven’t already posted your available positions on our statewide database, please post them at your earliest convenience at www.ConnectingColorado.com. Please be sure to notify Business.Solutions@arapahoegov.com. Once posted, we will review our talent pool to determine if we have any suitable and interested candidates. Resumes will then be submitted to you for your consideration.
If you would like to hire any of the candidates we send for your consideration, we will simply need to sign some paperwork PRIOR to their start dates!
