Unemployment Insurance (UI) programs are offered through the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment. For questions regarding your UI please call (303) 318-9000 or (303) 536-5615. Arapahoe/Douglas Works! staff cannot answer specific questions regarding your claim or status. If you received a letter from UI asking you to make an appointment with the workforce center, this can be addressed by registering first at www.connectingcolorado.com
All claimants must register for work with any Colorado workforce center to receive unemployment benefits.

Visit ConnectingColorado.com to register.

You must update your unemployment Insurance status as the example below shows.

Work Search Activities

Colorado has reinstated work search requirements for receiving unemployment benefits. If you have been receiving UI benefits for 16 weeks and you receive a letter stating your job attached status has ended, you will need to register with the Workforce Center and complete weekly work search activities to continue to be paid benefits. Please click here for more information on eligibility and work search requirements.
