TANF - Colorado Works
Arapahoe/Douglas Works! offers employment training and supportive services (such as child care, transportation costs, ancillary expenses and personal counseling) for people who are receiving TANF cash assistance benefits through the Arapahoe County and Douglas County Colorado Works programs in an effort to help them become a self-supporting household. In this effort, Arapahoe/Douglas Works! provides focused job search support, approved training resources and assistance, and on-the-job work experiences (including subsidized training opportunities within targeted industries). TANF recipients in the Colorado Works program are required to participate in designated program activities a minimum number of hours per week in order to continue to be eligible to receive monthly income support payment and supportive services.
