Clearing Paths to Renewed Futures: Warrant Forgiveness Event Serves Many in 18th Judicial Court District

On Saturday, July 15, 2023, the 18th Judicial Court District hosted its annual warrant forgiveness event at CentrePoint Plaza in Aurora. The main objective of the event was to provide support and assistance to eligible individuals in resolving their cases, setting new court dates, and getting back on track with completing probation.

On Saturday, July 15, 2023, the 18th Judicial Court District hosted its annual warrant forgiveness event at CentrePoint Plaza in Aurora. The main objective of the event was to provide support and assistance to eligible individuals in resolving their cases, setting new court dates, and getting back on track with completing probation.

The event saw the active participation of several community resources, including Arapahoe/Douglas Works!, that offered valuable assistance in crucial areas such as health, housing, public assistance, and employment services.

The warrant forgiveness event was successful in drawing in over 80 attendees who sought resolution and support. The efforts of all those involved paid off, as over 100 warrants were cleared during the event, providing a fresh start for many individuals.

Arapahoe/Douglas Works! recognizes the 18th Judicial Court District and the partnering community resources for their dedication and commitment to helping those in need. Events like these showcase the power of collaboration and highlight the importance of offering comprehensive support to individuals seeking to overcome challenges and make positive changes in their lives.
