The Power of Persistence: Evans’s Journey 

Evans’s journey from Ghana to the United States was marked by determination and resilience.  Despite starting with jobs like cleaning and driving for ride-sharing apps, he never lost sight of his dream to excel in the information technology (IT) field.  Seeking guidance at Arapahoe/Douglas Works!, Evans found the support he needed to transition into IT.  With the assistance of his workforce specialist, he enrolled in courses focusing on governance risk, compliance, and various CompTIA certifications.
