Thriving Connections: Arapahoe/Douglas Works!’ Remarkable Employment First Career Fair
Exciting News! Arapahoe/Douglas Works! hosted the annual Employment First Career Fair on July 12, 2023 at CentrePoint Plaza, and it was successful for the job seekers and employers who attended! There were over 130 enthusiastic attendees from various Arapahoe/Douglas Works! programs including Employment First, Parents to Work, Colorado Works, and WIOA, along with general jobseekers.
The career fair featured a diverse array of opportunities with 25 employers and several community resource organizations present that provided valuable insights and support. The feedback Arapahoe/Douglas Works! received from both job seekers and employers was overwhelmingly positive. Many attendees expressed their satisfaction with the event and highlighted how valuable it was in connecting them with the right opportunities.
