Ageism is an unfortunate barrier that we face in the workforce. Sometimes this barrier is built by employers and sometimes we build it ourselves by saying that we are over or under qualified for a job. In this workshop, we learn to identify and prevent ageist self-talk, and develop career-enhancing skills that communicate self-confidence, value teamwork, and support collaboration across age groups.

Managing your finances can be one of the many stresses you may face after losing a job. In this workshop, you will be given some practical advice, direction, and tips on how to manage finances during a job loss. Primarily, you will be provided information on outside resources to help you get through the struggles of financial stresses and to access basic, everyday necessities.
